Great experience both pre and post surgery. Dr Sumit Das was very friendly at all times and checked on me twice after surgery. Would highly recommend.

Very professional and welcoming. Came to see my daughter before and after op. Kept her very calm during the lead up to the procedure starting. Felt my daughter was in safe hands.

Dr Das, took time to explain my choices in terms of sedation and general. He explained the pros and cons of both. He listened to my medical history and took into account my requirements. I felt very supported all the way, the combination he used was perfect for me. Didn’t feel a thing and recovered quickly! I highly recommend

My first cataract surgery passed without any pain, I woke up, sat up and got out of bed without any memory of the operation., and spent no time in recovery. The second surgery, complicated by AMD, was far more painful. I felt pain twice and nearly shouted out but didn't. My son said I spent far longer in recovery than the first time, and came back to my room in a chair. I think I remember walking back the last time. Probably nothing to do with the anaesthetic, but I woke in the night for three hours with stabbing pain. I think I found it was better to be sitting not lying. Incidentally the first time the cannula left a large purple bruise for several days,, this time there was no mark at all. Thanks for asking for feedback ,Catherine Wells.
