Dr Sumit Chatterji

I was taken to Peterborough A & E by my wife Saturday 21st April having been taken ill earlier in the afternoon at home. As the staff assessed me for a stroke I was treated by Dr Chatterji. I had been treated by him some 2yrs earlier for a chest condition and was disappointed when he moved on. He saw my name on the admission list (A & E) and came to treat me as he was working in A & E. He was professional, engaging and very calm. I felt better just seeing him and he made me feel at ease by remembering me from our past engagement and treatment. I am glad to have the opportunity to commend him and to share with others just how effective he is as a Dr. I have now had the pleasure of being treated by him in two different situations and have benefitted from his knowledge, skills and outstanding medical care. Dr Chatterji is humble, hard working and has an approach making you feel that you and you alone has his total attention when we know that he is managing a long list of patients. He is respectful and a very gifted and able Dr. Thank you - yet again Dr Chatterji for you outstanding approach and in leading your professional colleague to provide excellent care for me and so many others.

In October I first met Dr Chatterji, he put me at ease and listened to my concerns, he explained in a manner I understood what his opinion was and how we would proceed, he impressed me greatly as with most of the consultants I have had dealings with at City hospital Peterborough, I would not hesitate to reccomend him to my friends or family. thanks, Steve Stainton

Dr Sumit Chatterji was very thorough in carrying out various diagnostic tests. He also listened to my description of my cough problems. On the appointment of 21Oct he explained what was causing my cough. I would like to thank Dr Chatterji and all the staff at the hospital for their attention and kindness.

Dr Chatterji is one of the best consultants we have met.He is courteous and friendly and gives you full details of your condition, he listens attentively to any concerns or suggestions you may have, and will also accept and reply to any problems sent by email outside normal hours, my wife has total confidence in Dr Chatterji.

Dr Sumit Chatterji was exceptional during a visit we made with my father, he was calm and patient and took his time in understanding how my father felt and what had caused the problem, he then went on to explain how the series of events had lead to his condition, he explained the scan in detail and suggested the way forward. We could not fault his care in any way.
