I have been under the care of Dr Ramakrishnan for six years for bowel surveillance and the removal of polyps. He is a kind, calm, caring and exceptionally professional doctor, and it is incredibly reassuring to know that I am under his continued care and monitoring. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He explained everything in terms that I could understand and laid out a plan for monitoring me going forward. The relief of having thorough investigations and then having the results explained so clearly is immeasurable. Five star treatment.

I had initially seen a consultant in ENT and was referred onto gastro. Lovely, friendly consultant (having previously worked in the NHS for 16 years met some very rude ones!) Took his time during my initial consultant to check everything, and booked me in for bloods, ultrasound and scope. Didn't question or try to persuade not to have GA for the procedure. Would highly recommend as he clearly enjoys his job and his enthusiasm for showing me the photos of my ultrasound and scope was great! Not to everyones taste, but I did enjoy seeing my upper GI tract and stomach in colour.

What a knowledgeable Dr who gives 100% of his attention and time to all his patients. For the past 3 years I have had constant bloated stomach and constipation. I have been suggested to go to Dr. Ramakrishnan and I am so glad I did. A lot of people including myself find this type of situation difficult to talk about but Dr Ramakrishnan made it so easy and comfortable for me. He looked at everything so thoroughly and took a very detailed approach to all my symptoms. The last thing to do was a colonoscopy and l was dreading the day to get this procedure done and in fact I was so close to changing my mind due to feeling embarrassed but I went..…..and I am so glad I did as Dr. Ramakrishnan removed a polyp that was pre-cancerous. If I hadn't gone due to embarrassment, I would have had bowel cancer in a few years... So whatever your problem is , don't feel embarrassed and get yourselves checked. This Dr is truly amazing and know that you are in the safest hands. I am very lucky to have met him!

Exceptional Doctor who not only asks questions but actually takes time to listen to the answers and explain everything. Had 3 operations so far and numerous consultations. One of the operations was semi-emergency and he calmed my sedation fears. Recommend without hesitation.

It has been so refreshing to be seen by a doctor who genuinely cares. From the first appointment, all through a number of diagnostic tests, Dr Ram has made me feel comfortable and listed to the whole way through. Dr Ram has got a great skill of making any medical jargon or procedure understandable and takes the time to explain why any tests are being done. You can clearly notice the passion and knowledge he has for his field and patients and I would 100% recommend him.
