I chose this doctor (and saw him at both UCH, London and privately at HCA, London Bridge) because he seemed to have more qualifications than others. How wrong was I! he told me Irish people were inbred, hence the thyroid problem, when I said actually the English invaded Ireland, so they may not be as inbred as his views, he looked a little stunned! He also gave me a misdiagnosis which is forever on my NHS record. Went to another endocrinologist who was professional and completely lovely. in no way could I recommend Hurel. More qualifications does not mean a 'better' doctor.
