On the rare occasions when I have been able to see a GP I have requested Dr Williams. He is attentive, professional, empathic and a good listener. A fine doctor with a great bedside manner who gives the impression he really cares. I gave not found this with the other GPs in the practice at St.RIchard's Surgery. .

I've seen Dr Williams since childhood and I found him on the most recent visit to be most helpful. He listened carefully, and understood my concerns. He reassured me about some concerns over my long term medication and made me less anxious about the far from unique experiences I was having with my hypertension. Dr Williams is a pleasant and clearly hard working Doctor with a huge responsibility as head of practice. I think it is easy to forget the burden that GP's carry both for patient care and running a busy surgery.

I found my consultation with Dr. Williams a positive experience. He was approachable and communicative. The only criticism I have was the time required to book an appointment to see him (not his fault). It is possible to be seen by a doctor rapidly for an urgent problem but it can be many days to see one's own GP. Otherwise I find St. Richard's Road excellent.
