Dr Taylor has excellent rapport with his patients and it is evident that they trust and value his professionalism. He showed great empathy and understanding of his HIV patients through maintaining an open and honest relationship. My brief observation of Dr Taylor has highlighted the importance of good, effective communication in patient care and is something I will take forward throughout my own career.
