I transferred into the care of Dr Otter at St Luke's Royal Surrey three years ago following chemotherapy for advanced prostate cancer. She oversaw a comprehensive treatment of radiotherapy which others were reluctant to prescribe, after which my PSA score has dropped to undetectable levels. She makes time to listen to my concerns, answer my many questions and keeps a steady watch on my case, always following up with my GP and other practitioners involved. I had a rather difficult experience on initial diagnosis at a different NHS trust and am very grateful to Dr Otter and colleagues at St Luke's for taking on my case and providing such good care which definitely has increased my prospects of life expectancy (for how long is anyone's guess!).

I have been in the care of Dr Otter as a private patient for some 15 months over which time I have been very satisfied with the treatment provided. She has a quiet, compassionate and very pleasant manner, is efficient and is interested in one’s personal activities as well as medical issues. She is thorough and backs up any concerns with further diagnostic tests to ensure that nothing is missed. She clearly keeps up to date with advances in treatment and surgical procedures particularly using image guided techniques. I am very happy to recommend Dr Otter as a consulting oncologist.
