Very understanding doctor

Very capable, caring GP who is very thorough and professional.

I had an appointment with Dr Bose because I had an accident at work and my hand. I had to wait almost 20 minutes to see her, Dr Bose ask how can she help, I explained I had an injury at work and my hand is swollen. She told me to sit down and said there is nothing she can do, however looking at my hand there is no need for her to examine so I should go to A&E. she did not give me no painkillers or a letter to take to the hospital for X-ray. I am mortified at this doctors behaviour, very unprofessional , I never want her to be my doctor as she has neglected her duty as a doctor, and this is not the first time. She made me go to the hospital, wasted 5 hours to be seen at the hospital, £7 car park ticket. Hospital asked why didn’t my doctor check my arm? I did not need an X-ray and had no fractured bone, but just a bruise.. useless doctor that’s all I can say about Dr Bose..

Greatness about the service is, it’s done what a doctor should do

some time ago it was very difficult for me to explain my situation to a doctor until the end and he would listen to me , because every time I tried to explain my situation they would not listen to me , and once it happened with this same doctor , but after a while he did not I know what happened, she changed a lot with me, and now I can say that she is a good doctor because she has helped me and done everything I asked. and this is very good because I'm looking for a good doctor where I expose my life and because I need help, not to have a doctor who makes me worse, I'm grateful for her change. It's make me more unwell it's look like she don't won see me

Dr Bose is a very caring and considerate GP. I saw her this morning with an ongoing problem and she listen to me and explained why she was sending me for tests etc. I think is a shame that good GPs like her are put under pressure to achieve targets set by the NHS/government, when all they want to do is make people better. I have worked within Primary Care and have seen over the years how much pressure and stress GPs work under. I just hope that excellent GPs, like Dr Bose, do not become too disillusioned and leave general practice.
