My experience was entirely positive. Mr Gore was honest, caring and I felt that he viewed me as a human being rather than 'a condition/something to fix,' which I am sad to say not all surgeons do. I was made to feel secure about my surgery, rehabilitation post-operatively and that I would be looked after throughout. My recovery was good, predominantly because of measures Mr Gore had taken during surgery for my comfort, in addition to his excellent stitching. I found the process of choosing a private doctor quite intimidating and felt very anxious, having no medical background. Especially as different surgeons can have different opinions and make different decisions, whilst simultaneously sounding extremely confident about them. I found myself reassured by Mr Gore's intelligence and extensive experience and I could not recommend him highly enough - I feel very lucky to have selected him as my physician. It is a cliché but this surgery has been life-changing and I am now able to undertake activities which would have been impossible before. I am enormously grateful to him and the other professionals who treated me.

I first met Mr Gore in 2018, when I was referred for a wide local excision and lymph node biopsy. From the start he was clinically excellent, was person centred and took the time to explain processes and to answer questions. He made the five years of skin cancer follow up as painless as possible, and of particular note took the time to call with results personally, something which is a real rarity. I highly recommend this chap.

Dr Gore is an incredible surgeon, from the start he was understanding and made me feel at ease with the process and procedure; clearly explaining what to expect and addressing any concerns/questions that I had. From the consultation, I knew that I could trust Dr Gore and went on to undergo my rhinoplasty. He was able to find a date that suited me best on a short notice for which I appreciate his support and commitment. Both before and after the surgery I felt reassured and comforted, he visited to review the procedure and explained in detail what would happen step by step. The overnight room helped ease me into recovery and allowed time to understand the care process before all bandages could be removed, for which Dr Gore discussed how to regularly clean my nose during this time and provided advice/tips. Thanks to his incredible work I now love my nose, it has been life changing in terms of confidence and I can finally take profile photos without feeling embarrassed. I have much appreciation for Dr Gore and highly recommend him! Thank you to everyone involved
