Dr Till saw my son as a 15 yr old..he was excellent .He diagnosed my son with Ankolysing Spondilitis .Something our own G.P had not picked up on even though the 2 injuries he d had ..had been 6 months apart and they had nt referred him anywhere..It took Sheffield United to send him to Dr Till as he was thier consultant for thier players at the time This tbh was a big shock for him as he was signed on with s.u.f.c .and had been from being just 9 yrs old...it ended his career there...It was devastatreing fir my son and myself .It stopped them from signing him on as a 16 yr old .They clearly did nt know enough about the condition...physio s were only just being introduced then ..He s 35 now ..The only thing i can say on a negative aspect is he did nt tell us ..me and my son .. He informed S.u.f c first .

offered me long term medication that didn't work for over 2 years. I couldn't get out of bed in the morning due to the pain that he couldn't explain why it started at 25 years old when everything was working perfectly before that. I discussed the things that help and he just said they wouldn't work and the only thing would be life long medication that he guaranteed would work. I have since seeked help elsewhere and after 3 weeks of treatment I'm pain free with no medication and back to sports and full of energy. So my advice is if you want to be seen as a number and not a person see Dr Till.
