first of all I must point out to those who says its the older people taking the appointments( AS YOU ARE I ONCE WAS AS I AM YOU WILL BE) think on that we must remember there are a lot more people than a few years back I feel im lucky I have been at this surgery for over 30 years I don't explain myself very well and when sad I just write down for the doctor to read as otherwise I would cry I have the greatest of faith in my doctor (who is not god) but does listen and i would give my support to keep my doctor on and lets remember doctors have a home life too wife, children, when do they get time to cut the lawn ??? think on that, please give our drs our support.

Dr Sherwood always listens to the problems I bring to him. He has been very quick to refer me to the hospital whether on an urgent basis or not and gives me concise and helpful advice. His follow ups on blood tests, etc., is second to none. He responds to messages left for him promptly and I can't say that I have never not been able to make an appointment to see him. Since he has been in the practice, the administration has become very efficient and every opportunity is taken to keep patients informed on the need to have flu jabs and similar vaccinations. I have confidence in his advice. He has looked after me and my husband extremely well and we are very pleased he came to the practice. I have no constructive comments concerning improvement in the service other than there could be more staff at the appropriate times when appointments need to be made - but that is a logistic problem which, given the number of patients, would always be difficult to resolve. We are grateful for the care we received.
