Dr Nelstrop puts you at ease at all times. Takes time to listen and discuss any problem you may have, it is a pleasure to have a doctor you can talk to without feeling embarrassed. She is kind, patient and professional and if necessary will refer you to a specialist for tests, investigations and further treatment. As a long standing patient of the practice I feel we are fortunate to have a doctor like Dr Nelstrop at Birchwood.

Dr Nelstrop - Takes time to listen, consider, discuss and explain your problem and the treatment she recommends for you. - Has a friendly but professional attitude that inspires confidence in the decisions she makes on your behalf. - She is knowledgeable, identifies potential problems and refers on for further treatment, tests and a second opinion quickly. In doing this she probably saved my life over an ovarian cyst. - She is empathetic and knows her patients well she looks at the "whole package". - I respect her opinion and advice and do not feel nervous to seek it, nor feel that I am wasting her time.

Having been in great pain all weekend , this doctor squeezed me in at the end of her surgery. She listened carefully to my symptoms and explained fully what was wrong and what could be done to help me. She gave me medication and said to call again if no improvement in a few days.There was so I didn't need to go again. I can't tell you how grateful I was that she saw me. Thank you.
