I saw this psychiatrist in Musgrove this summer during admissions for my eating disorder. She does not have a single ounce of compassion and is quite frankly a waste of time to talk to. She does not listen to you or acknowledge how the situation is affecting every aspect of your life, just cares about getting rid of you. I know plenty of other people who have experienced the same ‘care’ from her. When she does see you, she spends the entire time trying to convince you that you have symptoms in which you don’t even remotely experience, despite how much you try to correct her. She changes her mind over your care every 5 mins (never for the better) and dishes out an endless amount of false hope. It’s got to the point where I will just refuse any future interactions with her and I’ve never felt that way about a professional. I do not recommend this psychiatrist to ANYONE with mental health problems, as you’re left feeling more invalidated, ignored and inadequate. People like her should not be allowed to work with unstable, vulnerable patients, let alone be in charge of their care.

I saw this doctor last week at musgrove park hospital. She did not give me 5 minutes of time, considering I had just come out of intensive care unit, after a near, fatal overdose, when I was in crisis. I would not reccomend in my humble opinion this Psychiatrist to anyone I know. Complete waste of time She needs to learn about compassion.
