My son has been under the care of Dr Marriguddi for around 9 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with his care. He has a genuine passion to help his patients. He saved my sons life and I can never thank him enough.

Dr Mariguddi is by far the best doctor I have ever come across. My son has a very complex condition, Dr Mariguddi always takes time to communicate and listen to parents/carers (seems to be very rare in doctors) I fully trust Dr Mariguddi and feel very fortunate that he is involved in my sons care.

If Dr Shyamsunder Mariguddi is reflective of the standard of doctor in the national health service then the service is in a really good place. He was the perfect role model, a consummate professional in all the senses of the word. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, patient, he talked to us, rather than at us, explaining on a level that we understood. He followed up when he said he was going to and displayed genuine people and communication skills which, from experience is sometimes lacking in the older generation of consultants in the medical profession. The sad thing for us is that I understand he has now moved on to another post.

We feel like we have been messed around do much by our own family doctors that we brought our little boy up to the hospital where he was seen by Dr Mariguddi. We were extremely happy with Dr Mariguddi as he sat and listened to us and spent time diagnosing him with acid reflux and a milk allergy. Since then our son has been like a different baby and much happier and we are very grateful.

We took my daughter for an appointment on 28/12/12 at the childrens outpatients at the university hospital north staffs. All the staff and doctors we dealt with were extremely polite and listened to all our concerns and gave us really good advice.
