Very pleasant, helpful, thoroughly professional. He sent me for an x-ray but unfortunately the X-ray machine was down due to IT problems. Mr Agrawal suggested he would look at the x-rays when available and deal with any necessary referrals on my behalf. I cannot overstate his interest in me and his helpfulness.

I was seen by Dr Agrawal today in his clinic. I am very grateful for the way that he takes time not only to listen to me but to answer my questions and explain things in layman’s terms, which help to put my mind at rest. I think the rheumatology department at the Medway Maritime hospital has improved dramatically since since this consultant and his team have joined the hospital.

I was very impressed with Dr Agrawal. He listened to what I had to say, he made me feel very calm and I started to trust him. He explained everything to both me and my daughter and he showed us my X-ray and he.showed us where the problems were and really involved me and my daughter in the consultation I just hope that I can stay with him as his patient.

Dr Agrawal looks at me as a whole person and where he sees the need, has referred me to other consultants to ensure continuity of care. He absolutely wants the best care for his patients and is always kind and sympathetic. He is also accessible e.g. I am confident that if I were to feel partiicularly unwell, I can phone his secretary and be seen in a few days. He behaves as if nothing is too much trouble in his seeking to make me feel well. The big folder of medical notes that accompany my appointments look difficult to manage. In Meday hospitals, all the consultants have to leaf through them. in my case, they go back 30 years, so that is a lot of paper.
