OUTSTANDING ONCOLOGIST!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to under the care of Dr Shiroma De Silva-Minor for eight years now and she truly is an exceptional person and oncologist, she has been my saviour throughout my treatment and I would not go to anyone else. Shiroma always goes above and beyond to give you the best advice, care, understanding and compassion. It’s always very scary for people who have Cancer but Shiroma makes you feel that you are not alone in this as she is so knowledgeable and very well educated on Cancer that you know you are in the best hands and she will be with you all the way on what is a scary road. I can’t thank Shiroma enough for all her kindness and support and I really hope that she gets the recognition that she so deserves as she has extended my life greatly and you can’t put any price on that. THANK YOU

Having had a terrible experience with the first chemotherapy treatment on the NHS Dr. Shiroma de Silva-Minor helped me continue with a better plan for me and got me through the whole course and radiotherapy. Without this I would have given up.She listened to me and adapted dosage as necessary. She was kind and helpful and made me feel like a person rather than a statistic.

Dr Shiroma De Silver-Minor is an outstanding Oncologist. When I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer 7 years ago Shiroma was so kind,compassionate and very caring. She has such a calming affect on you and knows what treatment would be the best for you with her great knowledge and expertise in her field. 7 years on I now have Metastatic cancer that can't be cured but with the right help and medication will hopefully give me 3-5 years to live and that's when I got back in contact with Miss De Silver-Minor who has been yet again my savoir and I trust her 100% with the treatment she has recommended for me. Without Miss De Silver I would have been totally lost and felt defeated. She is one very special lady that I will never forget and can't thank her enough for being there for people like me.

Dr De Silva has been so supportive and helpful throughout my breast cancer journey. Always there to provide any advice needed for any questions I may have. Nothing has been too much trouble. Always gives you the time you need.
