Written by a patient at Wycombe Hospital
26th August 2018

Mr Krishnan recently conducted a total hip replacement on my left side at Wycombe General Hospital. The operation was a complete success and I found the professionalism and care of the surgeon and his team, and those on the ward, to be of the highest standard. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Mr Krishnan to anyone considering hip replacement surgery. I would like to say a very big Thank You to him and his team.

Mr Krishna has just operated on my my left knee by Arthroscopy to repair a torn meniscus and it now feels as good as new! His care and concern was exemplary. Explanation of the procedure was excellent and post operative care was outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending this consultant to anyone who is considering the same procedure.

I have recently attended the BMI Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden for a primary hybrid total hip replacement. The procedure was carried out successfully by Mr.Shibu Krishnan. During my appointments with Mr.Krishnan both pre and post operation I found him to be professional, courteous and aware of the pain and discomfort I was suffering. The proposed operation was explained to me and during my stay in hospital following the procedure I was well looked after by the team of medical assistants and nursing staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr.Krishnan as a specialist for Hip & Knee replacements.

Mr Krishnan and his team were absolutely fantastic from the first meeting through the operation and in-patient stage and then the post operation stage leading to discharge, with every aspect of the process from the start to finish he and his team took the time to meet me in my room prior to the operation and again afterwards and answer any questions I had. I am now five weeks post operation and walking unaided and have just had my final meeting with Mr Krishnan were he agreed that my right hip operation can take place in September. I would also like to say that the care and service I received at the BMI Chiltern was exemplary from all staff and would have no hesitation in recommending the BMI Chiltern and Mr Krishnan and his team thank you all for vastly improving my quality of life.

I had been suffering painful problems with my right knee for a number of years. I had tried regular exercise and steroid injections but all to no avail. I was eventually referred to Mr Krishnan at the Chiltern hospital. From the very start, I found Mr Krishnan friendly, professional and reassuring. Once admitted to the hospital and prior to my operation, Mr Krishnan and other members of his team visited my room and explained the procedure about to take place. I felt reassured and confident at each stage I was in safe hands. Post operation, I enjoyed excellent care by the nursing staff and Physiotherapists. Mr Krishnan also took time to visit me in my room to ensure all was well. Now seven weeks on from the operation, I am continuing physiotherapy visits to the hospital and exercise daily as advised. I am walking well without knee pain and unaided. The operation scar which is very neat, has healed well. I am extremely happy with my treatment and progress. I would like to thank Mr Krishnan, his team, nursing and Physiotherapy staff for their professional treatment and care. Not forgetting the NHS who funded my operation. Thank you all.
