I would not have believed how quickly I would be back to normal following the arthroscopy procedure. Mr Krishnan was excellent and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I had suffered aches and pains in both knees (arthritis) and had gone through the normal procedures of physiotherapy sessions plus three arthroscopies over the past thirty odd years until in 2017 my left knee became extremely weak and painful, which plus the swelling affecting my whole leg and foot, severely affected my mobility and life in general. Fortunately, I sponsored my own MRI scan as I was constantly told that the X-rays showed normal wear and tear and, when these images were assessed I was recommended for surgery. Shortly after this I was referred to Mr Krishnan and at our meeting I was made comfortable and confident, he assured me with adequate explanation of the operation and I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Krishnan to anyone who is facing a knee replacement procedure. The team at BMI Chiltern were also efficient and attentive and made my stay in the hospital as comfortable as possible following such an operation. I am now well on my way to recovery with much reduced pain and increasing flexibility, I am keeping up the advice on physio exercises in order to achieve the maximum improvement. Overall this operation has proved a good Christmas present and I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr Krishnan and all the teams involved at the Chiltern hospital, who took care of me.

My first encounter with Mr Krishnan was via an NHS referral to the BMI Chiltern Hospital. I found Mr Krishnan maintained a very professional attitude while being open, approachable, extremely efficient, clear, understanding and sensitive to my personal circumstances. I have now had minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery, and to date (2 weeks down the line) I am walking totally pain free, with a very tidy 5 inch incision on my right hip. It is transformational and I can't praise Mr Krishnan and his team enough. The BMI Chiltern Hospital provided exemplary care, I couldn't fault them. The operation took place on a Friday afternoon and I was there for 3 nights over the weekend. There was no evidence of low staffing during this time. They catered for my every need. All the staff from the Cleaners to the Ward Sisters were meticulous in their work; willing, caring and encouraging. I am now registered for 2 hydrotherapy and 2 gym physiotherapy sessions to further aid my recovery. My procedure was funded by the NHS for which I am very grateful.
