He was incredibly caring and warm throughout all interactions. He was also very responsive to ensure rapid action was undertaken once diagnosis was confirmed.

DR Ramkumar has the nicest approach and he is very good at explaining things to you and reassuring you. I have the utmost confidence in him.

I had formally been under another well known and respected cancer consultant who has now retired so I was nervous about starting again under another unknown to me consultant.Dr Ramkumar kindly agreed to my former consultant and good friend to accompany me to my initial meeting with Dr Ramkumar.When we came out my former consultant said how impressed he was and was assured that Dr Ramkumar was the right man to get me through my next journey.I have certainly found that to be the case,he has a good up beat personality and most importantly I have had complete confidence in Dr Ramkumar,he has always insisted that I phone or message him anytime that I have concerns which again is very reassuring.Very happy with all aspects of my care under Dr Ramkumar

I was referred to Ram for some Radiotherapy treatment in Sept 2023. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ram to anyone. Ram was always extremely knowledgeable, considerate, professional and responsive. He often went out of his way to reassure me on options/outcomes and was always incredibly sensitive to patient needs.He also spent 1-2-1 time with me during after care to talk through symptoms and options. Ram is amazing, and if you are lucky enough to have him as your consultant you will be in safe hands.

Been under the care of Dr Ram for 6 years. He is very professional in his approach with the kindness you need to help get through your treatments. Always approachable no question is left unanswered . We now only have phone call appointments as my treatment is at an end and I am healthy. When he calls its like catching up with a friend. Its nice to feel like an individual rather than just another person on his list. A wonderful man.

I have now been an ongoing patient of Dr Ram for 10 years. During this time my condition and its side effects have varied, but the level of care I have received from Dr Ram has remained a constant. Dr.Ram was very kind and interested in how I was responding to treatment. He went out of his way to borrow equipment from the Pancreatic charity, which the hospital did not have, so that he could perform in-operation radiotherapy. He couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful.
