Dr Khemani has been my GP since I moved to Broadstairs in 2001. She always listens to my issues and explains my medication and or treatments.While making sure I am totally happy with them. My preferences are taken into account . I am never talked down to. I see decisions made as a partnership between us. I have lots of ongoing medical issues which means I need a GP I feel I can trust . I always get treated with respect and I am always given the time I need . Being the only Dr at the surgery makes me much happier .As I know who I will see .As well as knowing Dr knows me well . Not a GP I last saw 2 years ago. Or who I have never seen before . Also the receptionists knows me .They are friendly and ask about me and my family. I am not made to feel a unwelcome, a stranger or just a number. I do not feel disadvantaged in fact I feel at an advantage to people at a large surgery . I get all the benefit of the NHS . While maintaining a great relationship with my GP .Not just a doctor I happen to be registered with but may never see. I say this from experience. I have been at several large GP surgeries previously and overall feel they have not served me as well .

Dr. Khemani always seems to have time to listen, she is very easy to talk to. I had to see her about something which I find quite embarrassing but her manner makes it easy to go into details you would normally rather avoid. She also gives you time to ask questions, which is important. I don't go to the doctors very often but every time I've been to see her about a problem I come away with a clear idea of a way forward. She is also very good at reminding us about blood pressure checks and other preventative strategies like the flu jab for example. Dr. Khemani has looked after our family for over 20 years, I think we are lucky to have such a good GP.

I have always found that the whole team at Dr Khemani surgery has always been helpful and understanding. Appointments are available without difficulty, the morning receptionist always respectful and helpful very caring. Dr Khemani has been great on every occasion. Very thoughtful and approachable. She always listens and thinks the problem through covering all bases. I feel very confident in her care, the same for my husband and children.

Drs. S. and C. Khemani have been our GPs for nearly 40 years. During this time they have served us faithfully and well. It is never hard to get an appointment and the doctor will always speak by telephone if necessary. The care is exemplary. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and everyone at this practice will go out of their way to assist. We cannot imagine being with a practice in which the doctors did not have such detailed knowledge of our medical, personal and family backgrounds, and view with trepidation any attempt to move us to a group practice, especially having had acess to the views of friends and others who have had no alternative. My family and I have been with Doctor Khemani for the past 6 years and have always been very well looked after. Doctor Khemani is very, very efficient and helpful and always listens and acts accordingly when my children, my husband and myself are not well. The staff are also very, very efficient and friendly. They always try their best for the patients when they need to see the Doctor. Overall, we are VERY HAPPY with the Doctor and the surgery!!!!
