Because it is a single handed practice I know who I will see, so no time is wasted going over medical history each visit. The whole team know us and are always very helpful and efficient. They are a very caring team.

Small surgery but great friendly service. Appointments available same day which these days is very unusual, but very welcome. I am type 2 diabetic which she controls and monitors. It would be an improvement if blood testing was available especially now that the Newington clinic has been closed. WHY.?? It would be a great retrograde step to close these small surgeries & transfer to larger practices where caring service is just not available. Some friends experiences of such places are horrendous! I have attended Dr Khemani’s surgery since she took over the practice from Dr.Tutton 20 or 30 years ago. I have always found her most helpful and willing to listen to any medical concerns that I may have felt. As a result of her care, I have received treatment from a number of hospital attendances that have been successfully carried out. The receptionist are always helpful and cheerful and endeavour to give you an appointment that best suits you.

As a patient of this practice I feel that this Doctor knows me and my history because of the continuity of care i.e. seeing the same doctor. This is a small community practice which is able to provide personal care which I would not get in a large health centre with a large number of Doctors.

I am always able to get an appointment within 2/3 days which is very helpful compared to a larger practice. This surgery gives personal care and there is a sense of community here where as a patient I feel the Doctor is always well appraised of my circumstances and medical history. A larger practise would not be able to give such a service. I would recommend this surgery to others.
