I am so grateful that I was seen by Dr. Rahman. He was an extremely professional. He diagnosed me with a chronic condition that was missed on the NHS. I was unable to work before this diagnosis however the treatment prescribed by Dr. Rahman enabled me to continue working as a Barrister for which I’m very grateful.

It gives me great pleasure to leave this review on Dr Shakil Rahman., whom I have known for nearly 12 years, both as an NHS (Epsom Hospital) and a Private patient (Ashtead Hospital). Dr Rahman was able to immediately diagnose my Bronchiectasis and Asthma, after I'd been seriously ill with Meningoencephalitis in 2011. Dr Rahman has been a 'lifeline' and a wonderful support to both me and my husband. He is a great listener and a thorough investigator of my conditions. He is kind and patient, with attention to detail; nothing is too much trouble for him. Thank you Dr Rahman for all your great care of me.

Under this Doctors care I progressively got worse over 7 years+ He doesn't listen to any of your concerns He never reads previous history so most of appointments are going over past history. Chops and changes meds without any concern for other meds you may be on. all his letters have no correlation to the appointments.

Dr Shakil Rahman is a highly competent, caring, and kind physician. He is highly proactive in his approach to respiratory disease and, to me (the patient) always appears to be up-to-date with the latest developments in his field. As a physician, he has many strengths, a prime one being that he treats the patient as an important individual. His approach is holistic and he treats the person rather than the disease. I admire Dr Rahman, and am grateful that he has kept my condition so well managed over the years, that I have managed to continue in gainful employment well after the age of retirement. He is to be recommended at the highest level.
