Dr. Haq has provided excellent care to our 17-18 year old son who was suffering from anxiety, hallucinations and suspected ADHD. I contacted Dr. Haq as he was one of only two adolescent psychiatrists in the Newcastle area offering private ADHD assessment, in addition to adolescent psychiatric services.
He returned my call very quickly, managed to arrange an appointment within 2 weeks (in between Christmas and New Year!) He listened intently and compassionately to both my son and ourselves, was thorough and within 4 weeks my son was on the road to recovery. I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Haq.

Firstly I'd like to thank Dr Haq for how quickly he found an appointment for our young son. We were extremely worried about our him but finding an Adolescent Psychiatrist without waiting months was proving difficult. Dr Haq returned my call quickly and spent time over the phone getting to know my son issues.
We received very good support. He was very thorough, approachable and clear with his recommendations.
We've come away feeling relieved and reassured there is a pathway going forward.

We have received excellent support from Dr Haq for our young son. The assessments were thorough and information was explained to us in a very calm and structured manner. We were offered many opportunities to ask questions. We have felt huge relief as a family, being able to understand and hopefully help our son more. Would highly recommend.

Dr Haq allowed me to feel comfortable and important throughout the appointment, listening and being present in the conversation at all times.
Dr Haq made me understand what his aims were and how he was going to approach my situation, which in turn helped me to see how the situation was going to be solved. I would highly recommend Dr Haq to anyone without a second thought.

He was warm and very friendly and made us feel at ease straight away. I would certainly go back to see him and highly recommend him .
