We took our teenage son to see Dr Haq for help with an anxiety disorder and at this point, he was struggling to attend school and at times, even to leave the house. Dr Haq seems very skilled at quickly gaining the trust of young people and their families and this is really helpful when often mental health issues are so difficult or embarrassing to explain. I would say we all felt so much better and hopeful even after the first consultation. We were reluctant to think about medication and Dr Haq was happy to try alternatives first but when we were ready to try tablets, his approach was very cautious and he took a great deal of care in monitoring the dose and response to it. He is very accessible and will offer phone advice between appointments which is very reassuring and also convenient.
