Dr Showman has always been extremely helpful and approachable whenever I’ve had contact with her. She goes out of her way to help her patients and never rushes you.

I'm more than disappointed by this GP. She has consistently delivered poor care to me. She's unempathetic, unprofessional and looks for the least she can do for you. I don't feel safe with her. I definitely wouldn't let my family be reviewed by her.

My consultation with Dr Sarah showman was fantastic. She showed real concern and willingsness to help in any way possible. She made me feel heard and gave me solutions to my problems. Her manner and approach was warm and welcoming.

Dr Showman is a really nice GP but getting to see her is extremely difficult. The admin at this practice is useless. Getting through on the phone is very difficult and getting an appointment is impossible. You have to do everything on-line which is not good for elderly patients, causes delays and exacerbates stress levels. Even when you do this, they often do not respond in the timescale they say they will and often lose repeat prescription requests. My husband was given an appointment for three weeks time for suspected shingles when treatment should be provided within 3 days if it is to be effective. Absolutely useless! I suggest they employ more admin staff and give them effective customer service training. They probably need more GPs too if they cannot cope with the size of list they currently have

Dr Sarah Showman is an absolutely amazingly dedicated doctor, who is extremely passionate about her role/profession....that she needs cloning!! It is evident that Dr Sarah Showman has extensive knowledge, experience and qualification along with great wisdom (to know that a patient is playing down their symptoms - as a result of the fear of being admitted to hospital). This doctor has displayed amazing kindness, patience (treated multiple serious health issues that I endured over 9 consecutive months) & genuinely goes beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety & well being of patience at all times!!! I'm extremely grateful to Sarah Showman & all the fantastic staff (Dr Diaz, Veronica Caplan and reception staff) at the NHS Torrington Group Practice!! Thank you. Fiona Ps. I don't genuinely feel that you would receive better level of service, if you were treated as a private patient!!
