I was waiting for a NHS Rheumatology appointment. My condition was worsening so I decided to pay for a private consultation. I randomly chose Dr Kamath because he had an available appointment that week. A.really lucky/good decision on my part. I would recommend Dr Kamath unreservedly. He shows great empathy and explains everything in layman's terms. He put me on medication that did not require follow up appointments or continuing blood tests, which should have seen me through to an NHS appointment. Obviously the NHS appointment did not materialise. I asked my GP to prescribe me more tablets but they refused. I contacted Dr Kamaths secretary who told me Dr Kamath was on holiday in a remote spot so may take a few days to reply. A few days later Dr Kamath sent me through an Electronic prescription which I filled at my local Pharmacy. Dr Kamath's letter was used by my GP to request an expedited NHS appointment, which I finally received after waiting 4 months. An exceptional service from Dr Kamath and also his secretary Michelle.
