Dr Kumar is approachable, knowledgeable, without being condensending and an all round professional. I trust his opinion and judgement. I feel I'm not just a patient but a Person who is listened to, not patronised. I am treated with care without feeling I am wasting his time. Follow-up visits and referral to clinics or hospital are arranged expediently and results given over the telephone by Dr Kumar are very reassuring as he will discuss treatment plans etc which saves taking time off from work to go to the surgery and prolonging the issue as well giving peace of mind. Generally the surgery, other GP's, and staff in this busy practice are all very professional in a caring way. My only complaint is trying to make an appointment. We're encouraged to phone in as opposed to queing outside at the crack of dawn - which isn't very appealing when you are not feeling well but you could spend ages trying to get through to the surgery then hanging on for another age after each option is chosen. Making advanced appointments also causes some frustration as the waiting time for an appointment also takes ages. I have no idea how this situation could be resolved but again, as this is a very good Practice, the reception staff are always very helpful and you feel they understand your frustration and try to resolve your issue to the best of their ability. The interaction between receptionists portray their helpfulness and professionalism hence generally the atmosphere of the reception area is not intimidating. The frontline staff represent the Practice in a very good light.
