My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes and is 14 years old and attends Teenager Diabetes review appointments . From Gemma's diagnosis and to present day ,Doctor Gupta has always given thorough explanations of all Gemma's treatment .Doctor Gupta always communicates very well and always listens effectively to any concerns or difficulties we are experiencing with Gemma's Diabetes . Doctor Gupta develops very good professional rapport with Gemma and ourselves and is always receptive and approachable for us to ask any questions we may have . Gemma has been under the care of Doctor Gupta from May 2015 and even though his time is very pressured the day after Gemma's diagnosis ,he took time to explain all aspects of Type 1 Diabetes to us and explained to Gemma how at that time about how the pancreas works and how it had stopped working with Gemma developing the condition ,this information was given by Doctor Gupta at the correct educational level which Gemma was at time of diagnosis and he continues to update Gemma with her treatment of her Diabetes and provides her with key information of how we can improve Gemma's control, Hba1c .

Dr Gupta is a very professional yet friendly welcoming Dr, he has always put my son at ease with procedures and treatments he has had, He always explains things thoroughly. He always listens to any question we may have and will also encourage us to ask him anything we are unsure of ect As a parent taking your child to a hospital appointment can be very stressful to your child yet Dr Gupta has put us all at ease and my son actually looks forward to going to his appointments.
