Dr Gulati was more concerned with why I had been to so many hospitals - in his opinion - than in helping to provide any care for chronic pain . He hadn't read the file which was a major hinderance. He promised to look into a previous treatment that had been very helpful and was the reason for my visit. When I received the letter regarding our consultation it no way reflected what had happened, nor did he follow up on any of his undertakings. I found him very unhelpful, bordering on the sarcastic. As a result of our meeting I have asked to be referred to another doctor - I have never done this before and have seen many doctors due to my chronic condition.
