Only been to see this Dr once upto now but he made me fell very comfortable and was very thorough when dealing with my problems.
I recently visited this new doctor and he asked me what I thought was wrong with me! he also seemed reluctant to prescribe me anything. last week I took my daughter with a bad throat and he said see how it goes, he didn't prescribe her with anything neither, which incidently she still has!!
Dr Duran was very friendly and welcoming, he also took care to listen. Possibly the best GP i have had the pleasure of treating me. Highly recommend him.
I saw the doctor as I was advised my my nurse.
When I entered the doctors office on my appointment day, he asked why I had visited him today ? Which I explained the nurse had advised me to make an appointment and discuss with the doctor my concerns. His initial and only reply was "didn't you Google it?" I said I didn't think I should and that I came for my doctors advice, he went on to say "I don't have time to Google it myself but I will point out 2 things it mentions"
I was furious and left requesting blood tests for myself.
The only positive feedback I can give for this visit it that the appointment was for after 6pm as I work till 6pm weekdays and it was within a week of seeing the nurse.
Good doctor but he showed a lack of empathy for me as his patient. Comparing to my previous doctor he was not as keen enough to find out more deeply about my problem. I chose this practice but I am quite not sure now if it was a good move.
