Caring, kind, and truly listens. Early in my treatment, been medicated now for three weeks, and although its been up and down for me, I feel hopeful for the first time in my life and I have this thanks to Dr Sally.

After over a year struggling to get an initial referral through the NHS due to the non debilitating nature of my ADHD symptoms, I was eventually fortunate enough to be referred to Sally. I've not had experience of many other doctors in this field so can't say if this is commonplace, but the care I received was truly exceptional. Compared to others who belittled my symptoms, I was listened to, being pressed in the right direction to explain what I meant - without dramatizing or exaggerating my situation. Felt fully at ease throughout the process, given the information to make a fully informed decision and given regular updates when required to help. A brilliant person, please keep doing what you're doing :)

At last a psychiatrist who gets me! I finally feel understood and supported in a way that actually helps. Dr Cubbin is brilliant at what she does. I feel very at ease during our appointments. If you think you may have ADHD but are not sure, she will calmly and gently listen to you, assess you and help you work out where your head is at. Cannot recommend her enough.

It is no exaggeration for me to say that being a patient of Dr Cubbin has changed my life in the most positive way possible. Sally is an expert in the field of diagnosing women and girls with ADHD and was the best person I could have found to help me negotiate my way through a dark place and through to the light. My son was first referred to Dr Cubbin and it was via his positive diagnosis that I came to realise I had always had ADHD myself. This realisation was a direct result of Dr Cubbin's skill in asking questions and suggesting links to me whilst I was advocating for Joe during his diagnosis. During the process of my own diagnosis, I was always kept up to date and informed on progress. Appointments were kept to schedule and I always felt I had covered everything necessary in the time allotted. I never felt hurried or pressurised at any point, everything was at my pace. Any technical or medical information was imparted to me clearly and in a way I could easily grasp. Sign-posting to other appropriate services and resources for ADHD was also excellent. Dr Cubbin has an approachable and sympathetic manner, combined with absolute professionalism and excellent knowledge of the field. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Cubbin and her practice.

Dr Cubbin is brilliant in every regard. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and a thought leader in the area of ADHD in women. I am a woman of 52 who was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 51. Since this time, I have written a book, and almost excluded all of my negative symptoms of ADHD under Sally Cubbins management plan. I have just learnt that 70% of women with ADHD go undiagnosed. This was me until the age of 51 when I met Dr Cubbin. She taught me more about myself and the diagnosis of ADHD than I could have ever imagined. My diagnosis explained why I am like I am. I write about Dr. Cubbin in my book The Freedom Bus-my story from adoption to true self and I have also shared my story on a video raising the awareness of ADHD in women. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jennyrossiter/detail/recent-activity/shares You are in such safe hands with Dr. Cubbin. You would not find anyone better in my humble opinion.
