I had a telephone consultation with Dr Chaudhary in July and was blown away by that call. She had clearly looked at my history beforehand and was very well prepared. She listened to me and took multiple immediate actions, which was a breath of fresh air. I met with her face to face yesterday and once again, she had notes ready made and did not have to scroll though the computer to get details. Whilst it turns out that my issues are all related to my liver and not my blood per se, she didn't just palm me off and is making an urgent referral to a liver consultant and has booked me in for a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow. Her manner is professional but friendly and I felt very reassured after my consultation with her, although was gutted to hear that her time with the haematology team is nearly up. She further reassured me that we had now set a plan in place. I cannot praise her highly enough , but will be eternally grateful for the care she has shown to me

Dr Chaudhary is inspirational not only as a clinician but also as a communicator. She is able to explain complex issues and inspires confidence in the treatment chosen. She is a delightful person and a joy to be with. I very much hope that she can be persuaded to stay at St Peter's when her current contract ends.
