Dr Bhayani explained everything at every stage of the pain management treatment. Very relaxed and friendly person, and excellent in his expertise. My continuous pain level was 6 ate the time of the procedure, but declined slightly to 5 after 10 days, then continued to decline to 1 to 2 within 3 weeks and remains 1 to 2 after 12 weeks. No painkillers needed since day 10.

Dr Bhayani has been my Pain Management Consultant at University Hospitals of Leicester for some years. He is very personable, attentive and thorough, taking full account of everything you tell him, probing when he needs more information to help you, but not in an intrusive way. He has a great bedside manner putting patients at ease, even as you are wheeled into his operating theatre. When I moved home to Wales, he went the extra mile, helping me to get my care transferred from NHS England to NHS Wales, which is far from straightforward as they are completely different health systems with different structures and funding arrangements.

I have learnt so much about managing my pain from Dr Bhayani and the team at Leicester. I have chronic knee pain & learnt about using topical pain relief as well as systemic pain relief. Dr Bhayani took the time to refer me to a TENs specialist nurse, where I learnt how to place the pads to get the best result from the unit possible. We then decided to try an ultrasound guided nerve block on my right knee, which has worked really well so far. I had no idea that so much could be done to improve my pain & subsequent quality of life & Dr Bhayani & the team have been a great help, thank you.

I have been under the care of Dr Bhayani for the last couple of years and I can't be anymore grateful for the service and outstanding care I receive everytime. Dr Bhayani has been the only person to diagnose my condition correctly, giving me the correct treatment plan meaning I can live a pain free life. Wouldn't want to be treated by any other consultant now
