Dr. Roux is intuitive, supportive and professional. She has a great understanding of my complex needs and how I communicate, and makes this easier - and never minimises any issue I call to her attention. She looks at things objectively and also from the patients perspective, engages in shared decision making and also explains and educates you where needed, making navigating health easier and beneficial. Dr. Roux will also give healthy argument (for want of a better word) to your case or theory based on lived experience(s) with her professional knowledge, meaning you both come to a mutually agreed and positive conclusion. Dr. Roux will prescribe gentle treatment and do referrals/investigations if necessary, and takes her time with your care. I have many complex health conditions causing a wide array of individual presentation, and I find working with her as my primary physician beneficial to my overall wellbeing, for many reasons. We have a very good rapport, and she has helped cultivate this.
