I don’t think it’s possible to recommend somebody more highly than Dr Capildeo. If you are considering a neurologist and one of Dr Capildeo‘s clinics is accessible to you, then do everything you can to see him. I have been lucky enough to be under his care since 2012 and even more lucky to have not needed him so much until the last 12 months. The level of care, empathy, knowledge, expertise guidance and investment in your well-being, will knock your socks off! In fact, you will get this from all of his team. Having had, what I understand to be my first relapse, from picking up the telephone, talking to his team, being able to have a video based consultation with him to discuss my symptoms; chat through medications & as importantly, not have my anxiety and fears around medications diminished, but rather, highly considered with out-of-the-box solutions customised for me, was simply astounding and most humbly and gratefully received when I was at a low ebb and place of fear and uncertainty about what lay ahead. Whilst on the medication, I was able to access and receive support every single day! Everybody should receive care, like this, every doctor should have the genuine warmth and manner that Dr Capildeo possesses. His knowledge is encyclopaedic and his commitment to your well-being, health and ability to function well is his main focus & priority. Dr Capildeo broke the mould & I am exceptionally grateful for his service.

My husband, and I, first saw Dr Capildeo on 28th September 2022, after previously having misdiagnosis from our local hospital. Dr Capildeo was warm and welcoming, and instantly put us both at our ease. He listened intently, which is a rare gift these days, and after hearing my husband’s story, took us through the different parts of the major nerves in the brain, what and how they control different areas of the body. He explained clearly, and, as a result, we have gained a lot of very useful, and important knowledge. After the correct diagnosis, and medication, my husband was able to go for long walks, and start to get his life back. Sadly, in December 2022, he was admitted to hospital, and wrongly diagnosed again, and , as a result, loss the use of is legs totally, they also took away the Methylprednisilone, which Dr Capildeo had prescribed. Dr Capildeo has been a constant support, and invaluable help, and my husband is gradually getting his mobility back. Needless to say, we have absolutely no confidence in the NHS now, but all the confidence, and trust, in the world with Dr Capildeo, if it wasn’t for his genuine care, my husband would not have survived. I really cannot speak highly enough of Dr Capildeo, and already recommend he to family and friends friends, he really is heaven sent Thank you Dr. Capildeo

I have seen Dr Capildeo reguarly since 2007/8. He has diagnosed that i have sensori motor polyneuropathy. He is extremely well informed about the latest medical research and after each appointment I leave feeling more confident to deal with the symptoms and more positive. Dr Capildeo is an extremely good listener - and very patient in his consultations. During my time of seeing him his medical expertise has enabled me to attend the Police rehabilitation centre in Reading. ( I am a retired Police Officer.) His letters and reports of my condition enables me to get physio and hydrotherapy. The physios at the Centre are equally well informed and often tell me how impressed they are with Dr Capildeos recommendations. I am also now getting more mobility and balance problems - and at my last consultation he spent 20 minutes helping me to walk better. I literally "wobbled in "to see him - and feeling a bit down about my mobility. I was amazed that what he told me actually worked and instead of wobbling out i actually walked out ! albeit slowly. He has said that i need to get neurophysiotherapy to train my muscles to work again and he said he would recommend me for more physio. i have recently worked at the Royal College of Surgeons for 5 years and i am aware of how important communication skills by Drs is extremely important. In my opinion Dr Capildeo is an excellent communicator and i can thoroughly recommend him.

Dr Capildeo is the best consultant I have ever seen. He is always friendly helpful and a great listener. Whenever I see him he listens to whatever I am saying and does everything he can to help me and he explain things to me clearly. He has an extensive knowledge of multiple sclerosis and just talking to him makes me feel better and more positive. I wish all consultants were as caring as Dr Capildeo.

I had an consultation appointment with Dr Capildeo recently and at the time I felt at my lowest with various issues. He listened to everything with patience and totally understood my concerns. We had sensible discussions on how to move forward. By the time I left my appointment i felt positive and my confidence was raised immensely. I have severe phobia of MRI scan and he was able to refer me to an open scanner locally which was brilliant and released my anxiety completely. Dr Rudy Capildeo is an exceptional true caring doctor with so much knowledge of everything. I would highly recommend anyone who needs an neurologist. Exceptional true caring person.
