What a great doctor. He had me diagnosed and into hospital within an afternoon. I didn't have any trouble getting an appointment. He always seems cheery and listens to what you have to say. I haven't felt rushed at any appointment and he runs on time!

Helped me make a decision about being referred to a consultant with a view to having a hip replacement operation and finding the best hospital. He always greets you cheerfully.

Listened to my problem and did not automatically assume it was my long term condition. Seemed knowledgeable of my long term condition and already recommended to other local friends with same condition. Refreshing to meet a doctor that didn't want to rush through too.

I embarked on a career in general practice because of the chance to see patients of all ages & provide continuity of care over time and that is what keeps me enthused now. I relish ‘hands on’ skills, and undertake minor surgery, joint injections & the cover minor injuries unit at my practice. Working in a rural area I feel it is important to maintain my emergency skills & am an advanced life support intructor. I have an interest in psychiatry & work closely with the in house psychiatric nurses.
