Dr Murray had me in clinic 3 days after an initial phone consultation, a mere 2 weeks after a medical event. She listened attentively, gave me her full attention and then explained what she thought was going on, what tests she was going to order and why, and what I should expect to happen at each of these ongoing appointments. That was a year ago, there have been regular check ins since, most recently last week where she explained she wasn't entirely satisfied with something so had a different specialist examine and here's the answer....she broke it down into layman's terms, told me where I could find further information if I wanted to do some research before our next chat and was incredibly reassuring and gentle. I had another call yesterday and can only say, yet again, that I am very lucky and very grateful to be under the care of Dr Murray and her fantastic team.

Dr Murray was professional, courteous and very helpful. She explained things in layman's terms and left me feeling relaxed, informed and satisfied with her level of expertise and 'bedside manner.' Her advice was sound and based on solid research and experience. A very positive experience with a positive and well informed professional.

Doctor Roseanne Murray is an absolutely lovely Doctor with a very wide understanding of neurological conditions and knowledge base. She displays a very caring nature and you feel as if she is invested in your care. It has been a number of years since I saw Dr Murray and she still resonates with me in such a positive way. She is a dedicated and brilliant Doctor and I am thankful to have been her care

I saw Dr Murray at QEUH. Throughout my consultation she was exceptionally ignorant. When I tried to explain my symptoms and diagnosed related underlying medical conditions, she just kept repeating that I "look healthy" and that I was just thin. This is the first time I've experienced such aggressive ableist attitude by a "specialist". I have a number of "invisible" and chronic health conditions including connective tissue disorders, all noted in my file. She demeaned most of my symptoms and concerns by responding with "it could be worse". That's rich coming from someone who obviously does not suffer from severe or chronic health conditions and has no idea what it is liketo suffer daily. She advised me that although some of my inflammatory blood work was abnormal, this is not cause of concern because she sees this in healthy individuals. What is of concern is that I have a diagnosed autoimmune condition, which is why my blood work was abnormal, yet she dismissed it and obviously did not pay attention to me during the consultation or read my medical history. It's worrying how many individuals she's likely misdiagnosed. It's disturbing that specialists, especially this one will dismiss abnormal results, particularly since she convinced herself early on that I was healthy! There's not even any point putting in a complaint, they just make excuses and don't acknowledge their limitations. She was polite enough but also patronising and obviously very ignorant. For a healthcare practitioner this is not acceptable behaviour or attitude. My experience reminded me of individuals that tell people they can't park in disabled parking because they don't "look" disabled.
