Absolutely awful GP. Doesn't seem to care about his patients and makes people around him feel like an inconvenience if things don't go his way. His manner is disgusting and he shouldn't be in a public-facing role, especially one where there needs to be confidence in his abilities. When I say abilities, that doesn't mean medical knowledge only, GPs are "general" so sometimes the most important thing is being kind and compassionate, showing empathy. That is missing. I really feel he is in the wrong job and am saddened that nothing will probably even be done about him and his stinking attitude.

My experience of Dr Baumann has been quite the opposite of the previous reviewer. I have seen Dr Baumann since 2016 and I have found him to be one of the best GPs I have ever dealt with (and I have dealt with lots of GPs). He listens to your concerns, he takes time to actually explain every step of the way to you and he has never forgotten my name (or my family members) or any past medical issues he has dealt with. He has been the only GP that has actually swayed me against using private healthcare. He has given me sound advice every time I have dealt with him. I would definitely recommend him.

I think this Dr suffers from dementia, attended and office lost prescription, when DR Baumman was asked he did not recall or have any notes of the patient even being in office. Was ill for months couldn't speak sore throat chest, told me it was a bug. Went back three times and he said nothing wrong, I was totally I'll. Dr asked me what I expected of him, I told him he hadn't even referred me to hospital, no bloods were taken. Eventually 5 weeks later sputum test taken. 24 hours later phone call from DR Baumann string I had a severe chest infection, which people had been dying of in hospital. This is all wrong. Mucks your medication about, removes medication without consultation. Diabetic patients on tablets can't monitor it, Dr says nurse will check bloods yearly. What is that about? What happens in between? Lot of patients unhappy with this GP. Patients had no choice but to use these GPs told to use this surgery not asked? This Dr if asked has no clue about his patients health. Dose not know your name or anything about you and that is over a year wee were forced to go to this surgery.
