I was referred to Dr Bhatia with chronic back pain. He confirmed the diagnosis of nerve compression in the spine and recommended me for a microdiscectomy. Dr Bhatia was clear in describing the issue, the procedure and all of the risks as well as why he felt this was the correct course of action as well as offering other options in an unbiased manner. Communication was clear and transparent at all stages. I write this 11 months after the procedure. I am a different person, my mobility is fully restored and my quality of life has improved almost immeasurably. I don't have enough thanks for Dr Bhatia and his team, they have given me my life back.

My experience with Mr Bhatia has been 100% positive. From the first visit, I knew he understood my condition and was able to explain it. He took the time to go through scans and explain the options that were open to me. His advice was constructive and not instructive. Therefore, I felt in control of my options. Following on from surgery, I am able to say everything was explained - all questions were answered and I did not feel rushed. It is early days, but the benefits already are more than I could have hoped for. Finally, I would like to add that I did not feel like an objective or target that had to be ticked off a check list. Mr Bhatia was keen to stress that the team were there, if I needed them in the future. This was very reassuring.

Mr Bahtia is a lovely person, very kind, caring and knowledgeable. He put me straight at ease and did a wonderful job on my spinal operation. I am extremely pleased with the results and service. As I have to have more surgery I am not at all worried about having it done. I really am extremely impressed by the service I received and the outcome of a very difficult operation. I am sure that the upcoming operation will be as successful as the previous one. I would just like to say a big thank you to Mr Bahtia and his staff for making the surgery and hospital stay very pleasant.

Two weeks ago yesterday this amazing consultant carried out Decompression surgery to my L2/3 Revision 345. What can I say but how grateful I am to the amazing professional consultant. Compassionate to improving the health of his patients. 100% trust in Mr Bathia, I will always be very grateful. Two years of Sciatica every day of pain in my right leg reducing my mobility to not be able to walk drive my car without pain. See you in a few weeks for a follow up at the Shelbourne Suit Swindon. I will hopefully have an enjoyable Christmas this year and look forward to a positive 2020. Thank you with sincere gratitude Rachael Collins
