At both pre admission and day of surgery, this Doctor gave an air of friendly professional confidence which left me feeling relaxed to undergo the prescribed anaesthetics. His caring approach gave the impression that there was plenty of time should I have any question to make which may reduce any stress or anxiety in me. This Doctor's manner left me confident to face what to most patients is anxious experience.

Friendly and approachable putting me at ease with what to expect. Sorted out an appointment mix up by pre empting my call to clarify. He identified the admin error in advance and rectified once he checked with me, the patient, what I had been told. All by phone. Procedure on the day was well explained in privacy and in advance. All carried out very professionally as was the procedure. Further check afterwards to ensure all was well. I praised Dr Sutherland's approach to others in the hospital.

My daughter was a patient recently & we were very impressed with Dr Sutherland My daughter was very anxious regarding her anaesthetic. Having met Dr Sutherland in pre admission she felt much more confident on the day of her operation. My daughter felt well supported & she had some control of her care!

I like the way in which he kept my total informed as what was going to happen. He had a long pre-appointment discussion with me so I could agree to the choices available. He was very approachable and did everything he could to help me relax prior to my scan. I can't fault him at all. From the time he called me at home to the time I left the hospital, I felt secure. I must add the nursing staff and members of the team were all efficient and kept the balance between being over helpful and professional.

I AM HIGHLY DELIGHTED WITH THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED TODAY. I TRIED TWICE TO HAVE A M.R.I SCAN.TODAY I SAW DR ROB HE SEDATED ME I HAD MY SCAN I KNEW NOTHING WENT TO SLEEP WOKE UP SCAN WAS ALL OVER. THE MAGIC JUICE HE USED GREAT STUFF. A FEW WEEKS BEFORE HE PHONED ME SPOKE ME THROUGH THE SCAN ASK ME QUESTIONS. HE IS VERY KIND DOCTOR.
