Was nervous of MRI as very claustrophobic. However absolutely nothing to worry about. Dr Rob explained all before and I knew nothing until it was all over although the scan had lasted an hour. Well done Dr Rob, Mary, and all involved in procedure. Will know not to be nervous if ever have to have another one. Fully deserves 5 stars in all areas.

As I was supporting my son who has autism and allergies to have an MRI scan done under general anaesthetic it was a bit of a tricky time. Rob was great, he phoned beforehand so we could discuss my son, his medications and what exactly would happen on the day, this was brilliant and put my mind at ease. On the day Rob came to the ward to meet us before the procedure began and i had another chance to discuss everything that would happen , which also helped to reassure my son. All went to plan and the care and understanding we received from Rob and all of the team at the Western was exemplary . Many Thanks.

Met Dr Rob Sutherland at the pre-operation assessment day and again just prior to going into theatre. Very personable and took time to put me at ease and explain the procedure. I knew I was in very capable hands and very much appreciated his care.

I received a phone call from Dr Sutherland prior to my appointment at the Hospital which lasted almost 30 mins and he took me through how the procedure would work for me and having just attended for my procedure it all worked like clockwork exactly as I had been told on the phone. All the staff of the MRI Scanner team were excellent they were so helpful I just couldn't believe it top marks for them all!!! Best Regards

Dr Rob Sutherland was very friendly, relaxed, professional and caring. He discussed the procedures with me in the pre-admission and I felt very confident. At the time of surgery he was again a great anaesthetist and I felt calm and confident in his care.
