I have received care from Dr Van Mellearts on two occasions, both of which were overwhelmingly positive for me.
On the first occasion I was in very early pregnancy and (having suffered several unsuccessful pregnancies) was looking for reassurance regarding the treatment of a thyroid issue I have. I came away feeling calmer and assured that the right steps were being taken. His approach was very personal and understanding.
On the second occasion I took my young daughter with a very mild issue, but something I felt needed to be checked. I found his approach thorough and sincere. He did not patronise us or make me feel like we were wasting his time, which I have experienced in the past in a similar situation.
Based on my personal experience, and expectations of a GP, I would highly recommend him. Thanks for doing a good job.
