(Appointment was via video) Doctor Thomson is easy to have a conversation with, which makes for a more relaxing appointment. I felt able to raise any concerns and that they would be given consideration. I did not feel rushed.
Mr Thomson was very patient and took time to closely listen to my concerns. He explained in detail what he thought was going on with regard to my epigastric pain. Although I am concerned about the possible links of pernicious anaemia with gastric cancer, he reassured me that in my case this was most unlikely. Recommending a surveillance gastroscope in order to assess what was going on in my stomach was further reassurance.
Brilliant , listened asked incisive questions and was able to question things and medication I had queried previously without such positive diagnosis.
Generally happy although follow up appointments need to be closer. I waited 6 months.
Maybe a,system where follow ups are booked as soon as possible after initial appointment.
Dr Thompson was very good and his manner puts you at ease.
Care given was good but too much time spent having to keep looking through notes online.
Dear Sir,
From the welcoming introduction and throughout the consultation I felt comfortable and reassured.
I was listened to attentively and respectively, my concerns were considered and validated, all as if there was no time restraint, enabling me to relay and think clearly. In short, I was treated like a V.I.P.
Thank you
Investigations for M.R.I . Pancreas and Endoscopy are arranged for 24th & 19th May respectively.
