I was diagnosed with a rare condition at the late age, but my GP did not seem to understand the condition and repeatedly refused to prescribe me medication to start my treatment. The appointed endocrinologist was not only extremely hard to reach (2-3 months waiting for simple email reply), but also went on to prescribe me the wrong treatment that could potentially leave me disfigured. No need to say how frustrated and hopeless I felt. I reached out to Dr Quinton in a state of despair and hoped for advice and guidance. He wrote me back the very next day, we had a telephone chat, he recommended another endocrinologist in my city to be referred to and prescribed me the medication. All that in just two days! He truly went an extra mile for me even though I wasn't his patient. He was understanding, pleasant and empathetic, I felt reassured and safe in his care. I believe his kindness to my situation changed the course of my life for the better. Forever grateful.
