Doctor Edwards, is s very nice and understanding doctor, although can appear to be very quick to come to a diagnosis, if you feel it may not be right. Speak to Doctor Edwards as he is great at explaing things. I'd also suggest you have all the facts / symptoms ready to help this doctors.

With a recent slipped disc, present with serious symptoms, was just referred for physio, who refused to see me until a scan had been done. Was sent for sperm analysis and told to just drop sample at hospital. Arrived to be told I needed an appointment. Simple mistakes that sadly lead me to having no confidence in the family doctor

I didn't find this GP at all sympathetic or understanding to my needs at all. Unfortunately im registered with this doctor, and with this new system in place I have to speak on the phone to my registered doctor 'edward's first to have a consultation before he considers weather its important enough for me to come to the surgery or not. How on earth can a diagnosis for a skin or rheumatic problem be diagnosed over the phone its beyond me? I cant seem to be allowed now to see any of the other doctors anymore. Ive now lost all confidence in this surgery and this New system. I have absolutely no complaints about the other doctors, but im afraid doc Edwards has ended this for me and if I cant see any other doctors which I have asked for, then id rather go and sit for 4 hours in a and e!!!!!

I did not See Doctor Edwards today but spoke to him this morning and was meant to see Dr Pillai. After waiting for 45 minutes I left as was feeling more ill waiting. I have been coming to this surgery for 15 years and have never had to wait for more than 15 minutes. Whatever this 'new and Improved system' is it is certainly not improving anything. 3 people went in to see another doctor who came after me. I would've been happy to see any doctor. It was ridiculous. They told me the reason it was so late was because there was an 'emergency' - if this is true why weren't they sent to A&E? The person who went in before me was making jokes before they went in so I cannot see how this can be true. I am really disappointed by the care I received today - which actually turned out to be no care at all!

Dr Edwards has treated my trigger thumb and removed a small nodule from my back. Both were done with great skill and gentleness and with complete success.
