I have been a patient of Dr Draper's for several years now. I have always admired the way he takes great care in every consultation, is undertanding and a good listener despite the pressures on GPs to keep to times these days. He always makes me feel like my wellbeing is what is most important. Having experienced particularly difficult times over the last 18 months Dr Draper excelled in the quality of his care for me and supported me thoughout the difficulties. A brilliant doctor.

I have been a patient of Doctor Draper since 2000 and have been extremely happy with with him over that time. I never feel rushed when meeting with him and he certainly takes time to listen to me. He explain in detail what treatment he wants to do and why. In 2010, I visited him with a severe headache which I had been having for a couple of days. I very rarely get headaches. He very quickly examined me and said that I had to immediately go to the local hospital. He called them to make arrangements and my wife took me straight there. They were waiting and saw me immediately. They found that I had a Pituitary tumour which had spread to the brain and was causing a bleed. It was also impacting on my optic nerves. While in hospital I actually lost all my eyesight! After a number of operations to remove the tumour, my eyesight largely recovered though I have been left with hemianopia. Even so, I am able to carry on with a very normal life. After talking with the hospital staff, I am convinced that Dr Draper's quick reaction to my problem (a headache) has saved my sight! I am sure that many doctors would have prescribed Paracetamol and told me to come back in a week if the headache persisted. I would highly recommend him.

Repeat visits with no outcome real advice or plan for way forward Avoidance for prescribing medication, only option to purchase off the counter medication for young baby Serious ongoing medical condition ignored Poor listening Poor response Always a long wait 30-40 mins minimum even in the morning
