This is the second time Remy has looked after my son in theatre. Both operations have been long and I felt so much better knowing Remy was our doctor. As a parent, handing your child over is such an emotional time, it’s out of your hands. Due to Covid made it even more tricky as I had no support for me once my son had been put to sleep which is traumatic to watch. I never knew this site even existed, that you could leave a review, until my friend told me. I then thought, all your hear is negative and why not give some positive! On both occasions Remy has come to see us after surgery and before he has gone home to make sure my son is well. Medications have been given to ease certain symptoms. The kindness, professionalism and dedication I cannot fault. For us, not only have we had the continuity but I feel the best care we could possibly be given. In surgery a lot of credit goes to the surgeon but the anaesthetists are what keeps the patients safe. I just want to tell you thank you for what you have a done for us. You really are a credit to the NHS!
