Dr George is an expert in his subject, but also treats his patients as unique individuals. His one concern is my good health. He acts as if I am the only patient he sees. He will stay in clinic until everyone who wants to see him has had a consultation. He supported me through a very traumatic time, with 2 years of constant colitis flaring, until I was able to make the decision for surgery which he had been recommending for most of the time I was under him. He tried every medication possible. His secretary is as excellent as he is, meaning he is only ever a phone call away. When I was most ill I could get an appointment within the week. He expects and gives the best to his patients. I owe my current excellent health to being referred to him. He never made me feel a nuisance at any time. the little squeeze of the wrist during hospital bed consultations make all the difference!
