Written by a private patient at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital
9th March 2023

I was seen at home as a private patient. I occasionally texted her to set appts. To see her it was £400 a pop. It was fine but I was honest that I couldn't afford it every week. She was understanding at first. I went to the states to take care of family issues and as I was losing the ability to function, I took way more than I should have with my medication. I decided to be honest with her thinking I could trust her. Our relationship deteriorated from there. I stopped texting her completely when I switched to GP NHS because she said I only needed to see her once every 6 months. Well, she texted me 2 days ago angry about a lack of update. I told her I couldn't get an appt with my GP she said she would see me. I said I couldn't afford it. Suddenly that's a problem. I fixed the issue and Suddenly, I'm texting her too much and she is getting me referred out of her care. SHE TEXTED me first. Don't be honest with your doctors. It never works. I have the texts and time stamps to prove all this.
