I saw Dr Sargur at Thornbury Hospital. I found his consultation to be extremely helpful. He explained my diagnosis very clearly and answered all my questions in a gentle and understanding way. His clinic letter arrived promptly by email which enabled me to obtain the medication I need from my GP. If this further medication fails to help I now know what the next step should be.

Due to an ongoing allergy issue which needed to be addressed face to face prior to planned and then delayed orthopaedic surgery,I couldn’t have wished for better consultations than I received from Dr Sargur.
Exceptional professional care was given being respectful,friendly,approachable and ‘listened to the patient’! Follow up advice was prompt and reassuringly communicated to other parties involved in my care.
I highly recommend Dr Sargur and his expertise as have others from which I took my lead.

Dr Sargur was very informative, he allows you time and space to ask questions and provided us with all the relevant information that we needed. His ability to help you understand things was brilliant. Dr Sargur clearly has a passion for what he does and is very patient orientated. We left feeling very informed about what was going on. Dr.Sargur is absolutely friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and quite frankly one of the best doctors I have seen.
Dr.Sagur takes time to walk you through all the explanations. You get detailed notes and links to help you really understand everything which is fantastic. Especially if you worry about remembering everything.
He makes you feel very comfortable and you have the chance to really explain everything and repeat information to ensure he understands what you want from the consultation and tests.
I would highly recommend Dr.Sagur and I want to thank him for being a great doctor.

Dr Ravishankar Sargur is a Consultant Immunologist at the Northern General Hospital.
He set up the Aspirin nasal challenge and desensitisation service in Northern General hospital.
His interests include specialist allergy testing, investigating hidden allergens and problems with the immune system (antibody deficiency, autoimmunity etc.
He has keen interest in training and was previously Training Program Director for Immunology in Yorkshire, Humber and East Midlands.
He was chair of the Speciality Advisory Committee (Immunology) at Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board.
